Diploma courses are among the most coveted programs in KMTC. These courses tend to attract huge number of students in accredited KMTC campus across the country.
1. Diploma in Clinical Medicine
Minimum entry requirement is C (plain) mean Grade.
Other qualifications include grade C in either English or Kiswahili, grade C in Biology, C- (minus) in Chemistry and grade C- (minus) in either Mathematics or Physics.
2. Diploma in Community Oral Health
Mean Grade of C (plain) is the minimum entry requirement.
Also a candidate must scrore a C (plain) in either English or Kiswahili and in Biology/Biological Sciences.
In Chemistry, physics or Mathematics a student must score a C- (minus) in any two.
3. Diploma in Nutrition & Dietetics
Minimum qualification is a mean grade of C-(minus) with grade C- (minus) in English or Kiswahili and also a C- (minus) in Biology.
Other requirements are a D+ (plus) in Chemistry or Physics, D (plain) in either Home Science, Agriculture, or Mathematics. Any of the subjects.
4. Diploma in Health Records and Information Technology
Minimum entry requirement of Mean Grade of C (plain) with a C (plain) in either English or Kiswahili and C- (minus) in Maths.
Biology or Biological science is another requirement. A candidate must have a D+(plus) and above.
In any of these subjects, chemistry, maths, physics, computer studies, geography or business studies a student must score grade C-(minus) and above.
5. Diploma in Community Health Nursing
Minimum of C(plain) and C (plain) in English /Kiswahili.
C(plain) in Biology and a C- (minus) in either Chemistry, Physics or Mathematics
6. Diploma in Mental Health & Psychiatry
Mean Grade of C(plain) is a requirement with grade C(plain) in English /Kiswahili, C (plain) in Physics and in Biology and a C-(minus) in either Maths or Chemistry.
7. Diploma in Nursing & Midwifery
Mean Grade of C(plain) is a requirement with grade C(plain) in English /Kiswahili, C (plain) in Physics and in Biology and a C-(minus) in either Maths or Chemistry.
8. Diploma in Kenya Registered Nursing
Mean Grade of C(plain) is a requirement with grade C(plain) in English /Kiswahili, C (plain) in Physics and in Biology and a C-(minus) in either Maths or Chemistry.
9. Diploma in Medical Imaging
Mean Grade of C(plain) is a requirement with grade C(plain) in English /Kiswahili, C (plain) in Physics and in Biology and a C-(minus) in either Maths or Chemistry.
10. Diploma in Medical Laboratory Therapy
Atleast a C(plain) as a mean grade with C(plain) in any language subject and in Biology/Chemistry/Physics.
11. Diploma in Occupational Therapy
Mean grade of C (plain) and a C (plain) in English/ Kiswahili and C- (minus) in Biology.
12.Diploma in Optometry
Minimum Requirement are, mean grade of C (plain), C (plain) in English/Kiswahili, C (plain) in Mathematics and a C- (minus) in Biology or Physics.
13. Diploma in Orthopaedic
A student must have attained a mean of C (plain) with a C- (minus) in Biology and a C (plain) in English/Kiswahili.
Physics, Maths and Chemistry are part of the requirements.
14. Diploma in Pharmacy
Must have a mean grade of C (plain), with a C (plain) in English/Kiswahili and in Chemistry.
15. Diploma in Physiotherapy
Minimum entry requirement of C (plain), C (plain) in English/Kiswahili and C-(minus) in Biology.
A student must have a C-(minus) in Chemistry , Mathematics or Physics
16. Diploma in Medical EnginHealth
A C-(minus) in either Biology, Chemistry or Drawing.
Mean Grade of C(plain) with a C in English, Maths and Physics.
17. Diploma in Public Health
Minimum Grade of C (plain) and a C in English and Biology.
A C- (minus) in Maths and in either Physics or Chemistry.
18. Diploma in Denat leasthnology
One must have attention) as a mean grade in order to pursue diploma in dental technology.
Other requirements include; C (plain) in any of the language subjects and a C (plain) in Physics or Chemistry.
19. Diploma in Orthopaedic & TraumaPromotion
Mean Grade C(plain) with a C (plain) in English or Kiswahili.
In Biology, Maths and Physics a student must score a minimum grade of C (plain).
20. Diploma in Health Promotion
Mean Grade C(plain) with a C (plain) in English or Kiswahili and grade C- (minus) in Biology.
With a D+ (plus) in either Maths, Physics or Chemistry.
21. Diploma in Medical Social Work
A student is required to have attained C (plain) in Kiswahili or English with a mean grade of C (plain).
The student must have scored a C-(minus) in Physics and in either Chemistry, physics, Maths or Home science.
