What is the RVNP Student Portal?

The Rift Valley National Polytechnic (RVNP) Student Portal is a secure online system that lets prospective, new, and continuing students access academic and administrative services 24/7. It replaces the former RVIST portal and centralizes tasks such as course registration, fee payments, checking results, and downloading admission documents.

Because RVIST rebranded to RVNP, students should now use the RVNP portal for all activities going forward.

How to Register for the RVNP Student Portal (First-Time Users)

1. Open the official portal: https://portal.rvnp.ac.ke/.
2. Click Create Account / Register (label may vary).
3. Enter your Admission Number / Student ID exactly as on your admission letter or student card.
4. Provide a valid email address and mobile number for verification.
5. Create a strong password/PIN (use 8–12 characters with letters and numbers).
6. Submit to complete registration. If verification is required, check your email/SMS and follow the instructions.

How to Login to the RVNP Student Portal

Forgot Password or PIN? Reset It

1. On the login page, click Forgot Password or Reset PIN.
2. Enter your Student ID and the email/phone used during registration.
3. Follow the reset link or OTP instructions to set a new password/PIN.
